Taking a Simplyhealth plan gives you fast access to virtual GP appointments and allows you to claim money back towards your routine health treatments and assessments like optician appointments and glasses, dental treatments and body maintenance such as physiotherapy, podiatry and much more, (up to the annual limits) plus hospital stay cover. As a NLC colleague you are eligible for a discount and so monthly payments for a plan start from £14.67 and you can choose between five different plan options. You can choose to cover just yourself or a partner too. What’s more, up to four children under the age of 18 are covered for £1.50! More details below:
How does it work?
Step 1 – Visit your healthcare specialist
Attend your healthcare appointment with a registered practitioner. Once you’ve had your appointment, pay, and ask for a receipt that includes your name, practitioner’s details, treatment received, date, and total cost.
Step 2 – Submit your claim
Take a photo of your appointment receipt, either on your phone, tablet, or using a scanner. This is so you can upload a photo of your receipt during the claim.
Log in to your Simplyhealth online portal or download the SimplyPlan App and follow the step-by-step process. You will be prompted with next steps at each stage making it easy to follow.
Step 3 – Wait for your payment
Once you’ve submitted your claim, it comes through to our team. We’ll review it, and if approved, give it the green light. Once your claim has been approved, you’ll receive a payment direct to your chosen bank account.
